The Gulfstream G800 stands out for its ability to connect destinations as far apart as Los Angeles and Dubai or London and Buenos Aires.

Advanced technology and a design conceived for non-stop intercontinental flights. That could be the commercial slogan for the Gulfstream G800, the world’s first private aircraft with the longest range.
The Gulfstream G800 has just opened a new chapter in business aviation with the entry into service of Gulfstream Aerospace, which has delivered the first luxurious unit to a customer, according to Robb Report.
Delivery
The first unit delivered was equipped at the Gulfstream G800 facility in Appleton, Wisconsin, United States, where they estimate they can accommodate up to 48 aircraft per year.
Actualidad Aeroespacial reports that Gulfstream Aerospace, a US firm, made the first delivery of the new Gulfstream G800, following certification of the model by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in the first quarter of this year.
Comfort
Passengers on a Gulfstream G800 will be comfortable throughout the journey, thanks to the aircraft’s comfort and functionality.
Robb Report describes this executive jet as having:
- 3 or 4 living rooms,
- 16 oval panoramic windows
- an exclusive compartment for the crew.
Technical data shows that ‘its maximum range of 8,200 nautical miles (15,186 km) at a long-range cruising speed of Mach 0.85 allows it to connect destinations as far apart as Los Angeles and Dubai or London and Buenos Aires’.
Actualidad Aeroespacial adds that the certification confirmed the model’s improved capabilities:
- 8,200 nautical miles (15,186 km) at Mach 0.85 (long-range cruise);
- 7,000 nm (12,964 km) at Mach 0.90;
- 8,000 nm (14,816 km) at Mach 0.87 and
- maximum speed increased to Mach 0.935 from Mach 0.925.
The Gulfstream G800 cabin maintains a low altitude of 866 metres (2,840 feet) at 41,000 feet, with 100% fresh air and a plasma ionisation purification system, according to Robb Report.
All this contributes to a truly comfortable environment during long-range flights.
Mark Burns, president of Gulfstream, said: ‘The G800 enters service with extraordinary programme maturity. We look forward to customers around the world experiencing the extraordinary capabilities and comfort of the aircraft’s cabin.’
Burns congratulated the Gulfstream team in Appleton and the more than 21,000 Gulfstream employees worldwide for this achievement ‘in delivering another quality product in our family of next-generation aircraft.’
The company says the G800 recently won the 2025 International Yacht and Aviation Award for Private Jet Design.
